    This seminar will review COVID best practices and managing a workforce during the pandemic. It will examine the FFCRA, employee information and documentation that can be requested related to leave requests, and issues related to its extension, on a voluntary basis, into the first calendar quarter of 2021. It will touch on new developments in employer liability issues. Workplace reopening and employee pushback to return to work will be discussed (including assertions of anxiety disorder, and vulnerabilities to the employee and household members), as well as updating the company’s COVID policy. Finally, it will involve the interaction of COVID-related issues and both the ADA and the FMLA, as well as issues related to emerging vaccines, and how far an employer can go toward mandating employee vaccinations. Written materials will be provided to all participants.
